The Village of Muscoda was in need of a new library to serve their community and surrounding townships. The building exterior is finished with E.I.F.S., stone, and siding creating the welcoming-feel the owners wanted without exceeding their budget. At the main entry of the facility is a vestibule with public restrooms to be utilized for the library when it is open and the general public during community events. Within the facility there is a 4,372 s.f. main library space with free standing wood shelving creating kid spaces, reading areas, lounge areas, and computer work station areas, study rooms, history room, conference room, and a librarian office. The 1,280 s.f. basement is utilized for mechanicals and Village storage. Construction was completed in November 2016 and the Village moved in through the month of December opening on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 . Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. provided architectural design, structural engineering, civil engineering, HVAC design, lighting design and electrical/data layout services for the facility. Delta 3 Engineering also provided grant writing and the library was partially funded with a Community Development Block Grant.
