A new church and hall building were designed and constructed to replace old and aging building. After many years of struggling with the decision of what to do with the facilities and many different approaches and attempts to construct a facility that would meet with the wishes of the parish, we were able to make their hopes come true with this pre-engineered steel structure. We combined two octagons with a straight central core which contained the entry/meeting/greeting area, offices, restrooms and storage space which served both the church and the parish hall. The parish hall also serves as the classroom areas through the use of folding wall panels. The parking area was located to the rear of the structure and included a covered entry area for drop-off and pick-up in inclement weather.
We were recently asked to design an addition to the south side of the church to house additional offices and meeting room that was sensitive to the original design. This addition was never realized.
